About The Position

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) provides rapid, high-quality nursing care to patients requiring urgent and emergent medical attention. This role demands strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage high-acuity patients across all age groups in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in an Emergency Department
• Recent ED experience within the past six (6) months required
• Demonstrated clinical performance and professional practice competency
• Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities
• Ability to provide a wide range of professional nursing services
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and hospital staff
• Active New Jersey RN License or Multi-State Compact License
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• PALS
• Telemetry
• NIHSS CEU Contact Stroke – 4 Hours

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized and innovative emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Rapidly assess incoming patients with physical and mental health conditions
• Prioritize injuries and medical needs to ensure timely and effective care
• Manage a wide range of trauma and emergency situations requiring quick, decisive action
• Develop and implement effective nursing care plans based on clinical assessment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Perform professional nursing services in accordance with standards of care and hospital protocols
