Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 🧠Registered Nurse | Neuroscience Unit Emplify Health by Gundersen | La Crosse, WI Join our 24-bed Neuroscience Unit, where you’ll deliver specialized, high-acuity care to patients with neurological conditions—all while enjoying life in the scenic Coulee Region. Schedule: 0.9 FTE – 72 hours/2 weeks 12-hour rotating day (6:30 AM–7 PM) and night (6:30 PM–7 AM) shifts Every third weekend Two holidays/year Questions? Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum)
- Current RN license to practice in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain)
- BLS certification (Infant–Adult) for Healthcare Providers
- Open to new graduates and experienced RN s
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized care to patients with neurological disorders and neurosurgical needs, including: Spinal surgeries Deep brain stimulators Brain tumors/lesions Aneurysm treatment Lumbar drains Endovascular stroke treatment Seizures Post-trauma care
- Become NIH Stroke Scale certified and respond to stroke alerts
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team: PTs, OTs, speech therapists, social workers, CNAs, and fellow RNs
