Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
- License Registered Nurse required.
- American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certification
- 1-3 years related work experience required.
- Basic familiarity with computers.
- Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

Responsibilities
- Provide Direct, Patient‑Centered Care Deliver safe, effective, and timely nursing care using sound clinical judgment.
- Assess the healthcare needs of individuals or groups and create personalized care plans.
- Integrate clinical knowledge with hands‑on experience to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Coordinate Care & Support the Care Team Oversee and guide assistive personnel to ensure coordinated, equitable, and efficient care delivery.
- Identify and leverage resources needed to implement patient care plans.
- Recognize how environmental and social factors influence patient and family health needs.
- Collaborate & Communicate Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to determine care needs and goals.
- Build trusting, respectful relationships with patients and families.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in all interactions.
- Serve as a strong patient advocate.
- Grow Professionally Maintain all annual mandatory education, including emergency skills and unit‑specific competencies.
- Partner with educators or clinical nurse specialists to identify ongoing learning needs.
- Participate in professional development and may contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate Organizational Commitment Uphold the mission and values of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in all aspects of care.
