About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide acute care nephrology services in a hospital setting. This role involves delivering dialysis care to patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions across various hospital units, including ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units. It is a fast-paced, highly collaborative position where the RN will work directly with patients and collaborate with both hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff. The role requires monitoring patients, adjusting treatments, and ensuring quality outcomes, with support from Patient Care Technicians (PCTs). No prior dialysis experience is required, as paid training will be provided. The RN should be prepared to work in a variety of hospital units and rotate between facilities as needed. The schedule includes regular and on-call shifts, encompassing weekends and holidays, and daily schedules may change based on patient needs.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of practice
ADN required
Must pass a color vision test

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful but not required
CNN/CDN certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis
Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff
Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes
Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs
Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment
