About The Position

Bishop O’Connell High School seeks a part time Registered Nurse to join its Health Services Team. This is a 10 month position. Qualified candidates should possess the following education & experience:

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
• Licensed as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia - good standing with the Virginia Board of Nursing.
• Active Basic Life Support BLS CPR/AED for Healthcare Providers certification with hands-on training required.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience required
• Able to exchange accurate information in situations with parent, students and other health professionals.
• Ability to make good judgments and quick decisions.
• High degree of discretion and confidentiality, as necessary and appropriate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred.
• at least one-year of experience in a pediatric, public health or school setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Magnus electronic medical record desirable
