Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
• At least 12 months of RN experience in an acute care or long term care setting
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire
• Must be scheduled a minimum of 480 hours per calendar year
• Minimum of 5 shifts (60 hours) per a 6 week schedule
• Weekend Shift Requirement
• 2 Holiday per year

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other interdisciplinary personnel.
• Utilizing organizational resources the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement.
• The RN’s actions and communications should reflect Kettering Health Networks mission, vision, values, and policies in interactions with patients, families, and coworker.
