About The Position
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time night shift position. The PICU at Wolfson Children's has achieved gold-level status by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. This means excellence in quality and safety, outstanding outcomes, parent satisfaction and a healthy environment. As a Registered Nurse for the PICU, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing patient care to pediatric population utilizing all aspects of the nursing process Supervision of care provided by supportive personnel Coordination of care provided by ancillary services Including patients and families in developing and individualized plan of care Education of patients and families to their disease process and plan of care Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for providing care for critical patients that require a higher acuity of care Uphold the hospital mission statement Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities If you are interested in joining one of America's Best Children's Hospitals and a Magnet designated facility, Apply Today!
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
- Hospital Experience
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
- 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
