About The Position
Responsible for providing nursing care, teaching and supportive care to terminally ill patients and their families in their home, in accord with Hospice Patient Care Plans on an on call basis between the hours of 4:30 PM and 8:00 AM weekdays/weekend rotation. Will be responsible for calling or reporting to office to receive report at 4:00 PM when on duty for that night.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional (registered) nursing.
- Currently licensed as an RN through the State Board of Nursing.
- At least one year’s general nursing experience is required with current Hospice, medical, surgical or critical care experience.
- Has experience with providing good pain management, IV skills preferred.
- Licensed to drive and with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
