About The Position

ACRS seeks a Part-Time Registered Nurse (0.6 FTE) – Temporary from March 2 - April 10 to provide clinical assistance to psychiatric staff, coordinate clinical functions in medical clinic, and provide clinician and client education.
Schedule: Mon-Fri (Three 8-hour shifts 3 days a week), no evening or weekend work! No on call!

Requirements

• Valid Washington State registered nurse’s license AND Minimum one (1) year clinical experience working in mental health care
• Ability to provide effective and respectful quality care and services that are responsive to diverse cultural beliefs and practices.
• Aptitude to work as a team member with professional and support staff; analyze and draw conclusions from case records; apply psychiatric principles to individual situations; exercise mature judgment; and effectively organize own work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Presentation experience preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (e.g., EPIC) and clinical systems.
• Follows all agency policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander language preferred.
• Presentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers long-acting injectable medications to Behavioral Health clients with attention to cultural relevance and clinical competency. Consistently submits documentation for direct services in a timely and complete manner.
• Provides clinical assistance taking vitals, clinical samples, and otherwise contributing to client evaluation and support.
• Provides high quality assistance and administrative support for medication refills, prior authorizations and similar clinical matters requiring clinical acumen.
• Assists medical director in organizing and coordinating the day to day psychiatric service operation to maintain a high standard for psychiatric services.
• Participates in quality assurance, staff training, supervision, and meetings.
