About The Position

Part Time 24 Hours Weekly Days (7A-7P) 3A Ortho Neuro The RN prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients; participates in patient and family teaching; and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Creates a positive customer service environment.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and identification of patient needs
• Implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service.
• Delegation of nursing care activities and provisions of supervision
• Establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care
• Assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems
• Performs technical aspects of care competently.
