About The Position

Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse (RN) to our Cardiac Outpatient Rehab at our Heart Center at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN opportunity offering a variety of shifts. Schedule will consist of a combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. Department hours are 5:30 am-7 pm. No weekends or Holidays. No Call. Cardiac experience preferred. This Registered Nurse (RN) will be located at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. Requirements

• Associate's Degree - Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• 2 years Critical Care Experience

Nice To Haves

• Cardiac experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
• Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients, including evaluating, continuous monitoring, interpreting, communicating, and recording patient conditions during the stress test
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
• Monitors EKG and documents all pertinent information for the session
• Reviewing charts with labs and current conditions of patients with stress test orders to ensure the patient is ready for testing
• Communicating outliers to the Cardiologist
• Direct communication with various physicians regarding patient care issues and handling emergent patient situations
• Performing initial assessment as needed
