About The Position
Join a brand-new 19-bed adolescent residential treatment center providing care for girls aged 13–17 with dual-diagnosis behavioral health conditions including self-harm, depression, anxiety, and family conflict. This is a high-priority, immediate-start role offering professional growth and the opportunity to make a lasting impact from day one.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Texas RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of behavioral health, psychiatric, or residential treatment experience
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification
- Experience with KIPU documentation system
- Strong communication and crisis response skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate nursing care, health assessments, and medication administration.
- Perform patient screenings and monitor for behavioral or physical changes.
- Support crisis prevention and stabilization under facility safety protocols.
- Document accurately in KIPU EMR and maintain compliance with policies.
- Collaborate with Mental Health Technicians (MHTs), CNAs, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate clinical updates and concerns to the Executive Director.
