About The Position

UVA Imaging is currently looking for a full-time RN to Join an energetic, patient-focused team! UVA Imaging is growing and seeking an experienced Nurse for a Full-time position at our outpatient imaging centers located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Charlottesville, Virginia. We are seeking skilled and genuine care givers who are committed to positively contributing to the patient’s overall experience which we consistently rank in the National Top Ten percentile. The ideal candidate for this position is looking for four 10-hour shifts, 10:30am-9:00pm. If you enjoy a fast paced, strong team environment then you will be a perfect fit. JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor, Clinical Manager, or Clinical Director, the Registered Nurse: Is a highly-skilled clinician utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to patient care service delivery. Prepare patients for imaging, which includes rooming, screening, IV and port access, and patient education Assist radiologist with responding to contrast reactions, which include quick assessments, monitoring, and medication administration. Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements. Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year as an RN in a clinical setting
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
