About The Position
SSGA is a leading Gastroenterology practice in the area, comprising 13 physicians and 14 advanced practitioners, and includes a state-of-the-art Endoscopy Center. The organization is seeking an experienced, energetic, and professional Registered Nurse for its Infusion Center. The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge to drive the team to continued success, be passionate about their work, and demonstrate complete dedication and determination to meet and exceed the needs of patients. This is a Full Time position, Monday-Friday.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse
- 2+ years of experience in IV therapy
- Knowledge of EMR required
- BLS Certification
- Proficient in IV therapy
- Knowledge of HIPAA
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as a team as well as individually
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with Remicade Infusions or Oncology
Responsibilities
- Administration of Biologics, IV and Injectable drugs
- Patient Assessments and evaluations
- Biologic patient teaching, injection teaching
- Work closely with Physician, staff and patients to manage plan of care
