About The Position

The outpatient care unit nurse demonstrates knowledge of endoscopic procedures. This registered nurse oversees and directs the care of pre and post endoscopy patients. The outpatient care unit nurse assesses overall recovery from endoscopic procedures and conscious sedation and educates patients and their families about homecare instructions. Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
• Exhibits valuable time management skills
• Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
• RN license active in the state of Missouri
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days
• Must obtain ACLS within one year of hire
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program

• Previous nursing experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
