Your Role: As an RN, you'll help supervise staff, monitor patients, implement treatments, develop long-term care plans, administer medications, and follow up with families to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
  • Current RN Licensure in the State employed.
  • Valid CPR Certification.
  • Maintain resident confidentiality and protect their rights.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA laws and related regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Bring a positive and enthusiastic attitude to work every day.
  • All employees must pass state-specific background checks before contact with patients/residents.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred.
  • Four to six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest quality of patient care to residents.
  • Promptly document care and observations in the clinical record using standard guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with residents' physicians and families.
  • Administer medications, observe and report responses, and manage medication records.
  • Assist with or initiate emergency measures for sudden adverse developments.
  • Help lead a shift with fellow RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, fostering strong relationships and compliance with policies.
  • Ensure all nursing documentation accurately reflects the care provided.
  • Promote optimal safety and effectiveness in medication management.
  • Follow clinical policies, procedures, and federal/state guidelines.
  • Ensure regular attendance for assigned shifts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect resident rights.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Uphold a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
