About The Position

Hollywood Private Hospital (HPH) is seeking nurses to join our Gurney Ward that offers one of the most comprehensive selections of surgical services in WA’s largest private hospital. The specialties encompass General Surgical/Vascular/Infectious Diseases patients. Be part of a team in a highly regarded clinical environment – be exposed to cutting-edge technology, procedures and complex cases

Requirements

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Relevant registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
• A minimum of 3 years post registration experience, including 3 years’ experience in General Surgical and Vascular patients
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
• Understanding scope of practice
• Ability to manage designated portfolio and display sound leadership skills
• Complex wound management skills
• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of high-quality patient care to a diverse range of acute care patients
• Assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of patients
• Ensuring all care is delivered in line with the core values and strategic direction of Hollywood Private Hospital and Ramsay Health Care
• Providing comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to patients – including complex wound management
