About The Position

A outpatient dialysis provider is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient dialysis setting. This role focuses on patient assessment, care planning, treatment implementation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective dialysis care.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient dialysis experience
• Minimum 1 year of ICH dialysis experience
• Proficiency with Fresenius T machines and portable RO systems
• Active New Jersey RN License or Multistate Compact License (Required)
• BLS Certification (AHA Required)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)

Nice To Haves

• Prior telemetry and chronic hemodialysis experience
• Ability to manage: A 3-patient assignment for initiation and discontinuation of treatment
• A 9-patient assignment with support from 2 PCTs for medication administration and assessments
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients throughout dialysis treatments
• Develop, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage overall patient care
• Initiate and update assessments based on patient needs, physician orders, and clinical findings
• Coordinate care with physicians, PCTs, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document nursing care in accordance with professional standards and clinical priorities
• Advocate for and apply evidence-based nursing practices
• Deliver patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned
