About The Position

At Central States Pain Clinic (CSP), we provide advanced interventional pain care with compassion and precision. Serving patients in West Des Moines and Ankeny, our multidisciplinary team uses minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to treat chronic pain. Known for attentive, life-changing care, we foster collaboration, growth, and clinical excellence. As a Registered Nurse, you’ll support surgical and clinical care from pre-op through discharge. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll ensure smooth, therapeutic workflows and deliver thoughtful, high-quality care in a professional, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in nursing (required); BSN preferred
Active RN license in good standing
BLS certification
Minimum 1 year OR or PACU experience
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs; push up to 300 lbs; adequate vision/hearing

Nice To Haves

CPAN certification preferred

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care from admission to discharge using the nursing process
Oversee support staff and maintain accountability for assigned care
Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress
Follow nursing standards and facility policies
Identify and report abnormal findings
Maintain complete and accurate documentation
Conduct assessments and monitor vitals
Develop and implement patient-centered care plans
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
Stay current through ongoing education and training
Support continuous improvement for patients and team
