About The Position
The Ostomy/Wound RN at Valleywise Health System is responsible for developing and implementing care plans for patients with stomas, wounds, and pressure ulcers. This role involves conducting preoperative and postoperative instructional sessions for patients and families, providing advice and counseling, and collaborating with physicians and nurses on treatment procedures. The RN is expected to practice autonomously, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient care while supporting the mission and values of Valleywise Health.
