How you’ll make an impact in this role Accelerate Healing and Minimize Complications: Assess wound severity, perform debridement, and apply advanced dressings to achieve faster healing times and lower infection rates. Expert Wound Assessment and Management: Deliver high-level, accurate evaluations of pressure ulcers and vascular status to prevent deterioration. Empower Patients Through Education: Provide essential self-care education to patients and families, covering hygiene, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications (e.g., smoking cessation) to effectively manage chronic wounds and prevent recurrence. Enhance Quality of Life and Resource Management: Offer compassionate, individualized care to help patients regain independence while optimizing resources to reduce high chronic wound treatment costs. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required. What additional preferences we're seeking Experience in Speciality Wound Care Experience in offload casting and sterile procedures with the use of grafting or skin substitutes is a plus. Will train new graduates who have the passion for the specialty

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
