About The Position

Aspirus is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at the Weston Clinic! The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process when assisting with the delivery of primary health care and patient care management in the clinic setting. The R.N. performs a wide variety of patient care activities including documentation within the medical record. The R.N. utilizes nursing skills when assessing and triaging patients and recommending follow-up care. The position requires the ability to make decisions consistent with nursing practice, clinic policies and observance of confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements

• Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through graduation of an accredited R.N. program.
• Two years medical experience preferred.
• Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients/turning over rooms.
• Assisting providers with patient interventions as needed.
• Following up on patient results, educating, placing referrals, ordering prescriptions and DME accordingly.
• Managing provider staff Inbasket.
• Complete nurse only visits.
