About The Position

The Urology Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice. The nurse will follow organizational policies and procedures, nursing process guidelines, standards of care, and standards of practice. The position involves working day shifts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with daily work times ranging from 8 to 10 hours, and a scheduled total of 80 hours per pay period.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• For clinics with the Rural Health Designation, Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), and Canadian equivalents is required within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists in performing clinical procedures as directed by the physician/provider.
• Collects, records, reports and maintains data.
• Assesses each assigned patient, evaluates and documents their response to care and takes appropriate action.
• Plans and implements patient care and provides patient teaching using Standard of Care.
• Adheres to established principles of aseptic technique and infection control.
