Registered Nurse-Urgent Care
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) is in a role providing both patient care and education to direct patients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assesses the full scope of patient needs using the nursing process on a continuous basis. Provides a safe environment for patients and employees through identifying/correcting/reporting health and safety hazards. Evaluate patient’s response to plan of care and work in collaboration with interprofessional team to make any needed adjustments. Responsibility and accountability for effectively managing nursing care of individual patients. Cooperates with distribution of resources to maintain a therapeutic environment. Maintains interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors and co-workers. Accountable for nursing practice through planned and continuous professional growth and development. Uses knowledge and judgement needed to meet the nursing needs of patient. Serves in a leadership role through clinical practice, supervision, teaching and research. Complete accurate and timely documentation within electronic medical records. Assist with medication management. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

- Telephone and in-person triage Assist or perform procedures within scope of license Provide patient education
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and regulations to give and evaluate patient care.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
- BLS or CPR required.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of how a medical office runs.
- At least one year of experience working in the medical field would be preferred but not required.
