About The Position

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse - Unit Coordinator for the Stepdown / Intermediate Care unit. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality nursing care and leadership within the department. The RN Unit Coordinator will demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice, lead safety and quality initiatives, and contribute to staff development. The role is essential in promoting excellent customer service and increasing staff satisfaction.

Requirements

• 18 months of previous RN ICU, Stepdown / Intermediate care experience.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• RN License valid to practice in the State of Virginia.
• BSN or MSN degree required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area.
• Provide clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care.
• Lead safety and quality initiatives within the department.
• Simplify workflow and contribute to the development of staff.
• Promote excellent customer service and increase staff satisfaction.
