The Trauma Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator is a Registered Nurse responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) Program for Halifax Health’s Level II Trauma Center. This role ensures continuous monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of trauma care, in alignment with American College of Surgeons (ACS) and Florida Department of Health trauma standards. The PI Coordinator collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, ancillary departments, and administration to enhance trauma outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
