About The Position

The position involves providing patient care through the Nursing Process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse will direct and guide patient teaching and the activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel, assuming a lead role in patient education. The focus is on placing the patient at the center of care practices and collaborating positively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care and achieve desired outcomes. The role may require working in other patient care units or shifts based on staff distribution, patient needs, and patient acuity. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary to meet department needs, including the requirement to work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN.
• Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Previous experience preferred, but not required.
