About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department at Evanston Hospital. This full-time position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, with working hours from 11:00 am to 11:30 pm. The role involves utilizing the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and guiding unlicensed nursing personnel. The Registered Nurse will also contribute positively to safety outcomes and promote a high-quality patient experience.

Requirements

• BSN degree preferred
• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of med/surg experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice
• Assume responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care
• Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience
