Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility)
BLS
ACLS

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred.
Previous experience with cardiac patients preferred.
Previous hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitors clinical status (ex. monitor pattern, vital signs, patient signs and symptoms.)
Interprets clinical data.
Acts in accordance with clinical data interpretation and physician orders.
Demonstrates proficiency in caring for the monitored patient.
Interprets diagnostic tests as they relate to patient care.
Responds appropriately in an emergency situation.
Demonstrates clinical proficiency in all unit specific competencies and mandatory requirements.
Completes criterion referenced competency checklists.
