How you’ll make an impact in this role Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN), following established policies, procedures, and clinical protocols to ensure safe, high-quality care. Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans, adjusting interventions to support optimal outcomes and patient recovery. Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition changes to the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Execute physician and nursing orders accurately while maintaining timely, compliant documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR). Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team to ensure safe transitions, continuity of care, and positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year previous Telemetry Med-Surg experience preferred.
  • Bachelors in Nursing preferred
