The Registered Nurse (Survivorship Coordinator) is responsible for managing patient care from admission to discharge under general supervision and following established policies, procedures, and Michigan Public Health Code. The RN uses the nursing process (assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate) and collaborates with a healthcare team to ensure high-quality care and timely discharge. The RN may delegate tasks to support staff and provide hands-on care depending on the patient's needs. Accurate and timely documentation and communication about patient progress, care given, and future needs are expected during each shift.
