About The Position

Overview of Unit/Department Surgical 900 W South is a 25 bed adult med/surg unit. We care for a variety of patients with our specialty focused on GI and GU post-surgical patients. We offer special training for suprapubic catheter insertion, post-bariatric surgery training and much more. We work very closely with other disciplines to provide excellent care and outcomes. Our unit is equipped with the latest technology, including the new virtual nursing program. Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates • $20,000.00 Sign-On Bonus • 120 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off • Up to $4,000.000 Relocation bonus • $1.00 Certification pay • $1.00 BSN pay • Career Ladder Bonus eligible up to $5,000.00 Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Nursing License active in the state of Missouri
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days
• ACLS within a year of hire
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
• Exhibits valuable time management skills
• Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Previous nursing experience
