About The Position

Mater Private Hospital Redlands is seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join their Surgical Ward. This permanent part-time position involves caring for general medical and surgical patients, including those in urology and orthopaedics, for 24-32 hours per week. The role requires availability for all shifts on a 24/7 rotating roster, encompassing mornings, afternoons, and nights. Mater Private Hospital Redland is an expanding 60-bed facility offering specialities such as orthopaedics, rehabilitation, acute medicine, palliative care, urology, gynaecology, general, and breast surgery. The hospital features 2 operating rooms, 1 endoscopy room, and a busy Day Procedure Unit, providing award-winning nursing services in an idyllic environment.

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in an acute setting
• Proven clinical competency and the ability to maintain the highest standards of nursing care
• Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care and outcomes
• Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement of health care and nursing practice
• Demonstrates a collaborative and engaging approach to teamwork and the ability to work within the multi-disciplinary team

Nice To Haves

• Experience in both surgical and medical nursing preferrable
