Registered Nurse (Surgical Truama)
About The Position
This position is Sign-On Bonus Eligible. Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital's, 3 Ridley-Tree accepts all medical-surgical patients and specializes in the care of surgical and trauma patients. This is a fast-paced unit with a focus on patient and staff satisfaction through teamwork, shared governance, and a commitment to quality. The unit has 32 beds and the capability for remote telemetry monitoring. We work closely with the Surgeons, Surgical Residents, and the Trauma Team. The ASMBS (American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery) has designated Cottage Health as a Bariatric Center of Excellence. All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.
Requirements
- Current California RN license
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
- 1 year recent RN experience in an acute care setting
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree
- Medical/Surgical Certification
