About The Position

This Registered Nurse position in Surgery/OR at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL, involves rendering professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. The role requires employing critical thinking skills to assess patients’ condition, recognize deviations, plan and evaluate care, monitor patients’ progress, and record pertinent observations. The nurse will also delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and function as a team member to fulfill unit goals. Requirements

  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position

Nice To Haves

  • Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing
  • Previous OR/Surgery experience
