Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Emplify Health by Gundersen has an opening in the Operating Room As a Level 2 Trauma Center, the Surgery Department is a fast-paced unit with 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms and 2 labor and delivery suites with cutting-edge surgical equipment. We provide a wide range of surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries to populations ranging from neonates to adults. The multidisciplinary team includes RNs, surgeons, anesthesia staff, and surgical technologists. As a nurse, you will play a direct role in providing LOVE + MEDICINE for a broad range of patients in the Operating Room. Registered Nurses in the OR circulate and may scrub for surgeries while caring for patient’s one-on-one being their advocate and anticipating their needs during the surgery. What you will do: Fulltime, 72 hours every two weeks (0.9 FTE) This position has the flexibility to be 9 or 12-hour shifts, however during orientation you will be scheduled for 9-hour shifts 9-hour shift: primarily day shifts (6:15am-3:45pm) with some PM and nights shifts, could be up to 6 off shifts within a 6-week scheduling period. Occasional weekend shifts as needed per unit need (cover PTO, FML, or vacations) 12-hour shift: primarily day shifts (6:15am-6:45pm) with occasional night or weekend shifts as needed per unit need (cover PTO, FML, or vacations) Night and Weekend call rotation. Call response time is 60 minutes or less Holiday Rotation: 1-2 holidays per year

Requirements

  • Minimum of an associate degree in nursing
  • An active RN license to work in Wisconsin
  • Current BLS for Health Care Providers

Nice To Haves

  • Prior RN experience is strongly preferred
