About The Position

National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a Full-Time Surgery Center RN to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our surgery center in Brunswick, GA. Schedule: Monday - Thursday (no weekends, holidays, or on-call) Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm. Pre-op/PACU/OR experience highly preferred.

Requirements

• A valid GA Registered Nurse license, or Compact State license.
• Current BLS and ACLS (or able to obtain ACLS within 30 days of employment)
• Knowledge of EMR systems and technologies
• The capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity.

Nice To Haves

• Pre-op/PACU/OR experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status at intervals according to facility or health care organization policies and procedures.
• Interpret information accurately from various noninvasive and invasive monitors.
• Evaluate the patient's progress toward attaining outcomes utilizing relevant scoring systems/discharge criteria (e.g. Aldrete Score, Post Anesthesia Discharge Scoring System) as defined by organizational policy.
