About The Position
Join Baylor Heart Hospital Dallas as a Registered Nurse Supervisor in Cardiac PCU/Telemetry (SCU2) and be part of something better! Patient Population: Cardiac PCU/Tele- Post cardiotomy, cardiology Interventional, Post Vascular Surgical/Interventional, Advanced heart Failure. Your role as Nursing Supervisor involves supervising healthcare professionals and ensuring high patient care levels. Maintain a safe environment and nurture nursing practice to improve patient outcomes. Oversee operations, productivity, and resource distribution to meet department priorities. Requirements
- MUST have at least 1yr previous Charge RN experience (supervisory experience is a plus)
- at least 2yr previous Cardiac Tele/PCU/ICU RN experience.
- EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
- MAJOR - Nursing
- EXPERIENCE - 2yr of Tele, PCU, or ICU RN Experience & 1yr of RN Charge or Supervisor Experience
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.

- Working closely with members from different professional fields to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Assessing how effective the nursing practices are and infusing practices and research discoveries that are evidence-based.
