About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor will be a valued team member of 2CGHJ which is a 51-bed medical surgical telemetry unit that focuses on Medical/Surgical patients, a hall dedicated to serve patients with heart failure and 2 halls that serve as the primary inpatient unit for our great Family Medicine residency program. The unit is one of the “newest” units in the hospital as it originally opened in 2021 to accommodate covid patients and has transitioned into a comprehensive Medical/Surgical unit. Atrium Health Cabarrus is the only hospital in the county of Cabarrus and is northeast of the largest city in NC, so the unit was needed to form to meet the increased hospital census needs. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Atrium Health Cabarrus is a 457-bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties. As a designated Level III Trauma Center, we provide comprehensive emergency services and a wide range of specialty medical care. We are proud to hold disease-specific certifications in Stroke, Epilepsy, Spine, Bariatrics, and Chest Pain Center care . Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current RN licensure in an appropriate state
  • Minium two years nursing experience preferred
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of hire/transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program
  • Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is within 1 year of eligibility of professional certification exam
  • Additional education, training, certifications or experience may be within the department by the nurse leader
