Assess the physical and psychological conditions of patients continuously throughout their care journey. Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of SSBH. Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values. Oversee and ensure staff adherence to standards of care, mental health practices, and hospital policies. Lead and contribute to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, and performance improvement initiatives. Provide essential supervision, leadership, and direction to nursing staff. Evaluate program effectiveness, formulate improvement plans, and implement necessary changes. Coordinate staffing schedules based on patient needs and maintain legal processes for patients. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state, and regulatory standards. Develop, update, and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment planning offered by Nursing Services. Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, document patient information, and reassess changes in patient condition. Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for: Education & Licensure: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required and able to produce a valid Washington State RN license. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience: A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility and psychiatric nursing management. Additional Skill Requirements: Thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, and OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory standards. CPR certification is required. Successful completion of crisis intervention training within 90 days of employment and before participating in restraining procedures. Demonstrate exceptional crisis management and time management skills. Showcase your flexibility and creativity, with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Compensation: This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range for this role is $50.00 - $60.00 hourly. Requirements
