About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor will be a valued teammate of a 44-bed medical-surgical unit, also known as Internal Medicine. We are committed to delivering exceptional care to adult patients with a wide range of medical diagnosis and conditions. In this role, the Clinical Supervisor will work closely with the nursing care team compiled of a healthcare technician and exercise physiologist to provide patient-centered care. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care plans, facilitate clear communication, and promote optimal recovery and patient well-being. The Internal Medicine unit provides a great learning environment for nurses with all experience levels and interests. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Atrium Health Cabarrus is a 457-bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties. As a designated Level III Trauma Center, we provide comprehensive emergency services and a wide range of specialty medical care. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Graduate fr om an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current RN licensure in an appropriate state
  • RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of hire/transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program
  • Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is within 1 year of eligibility of professional certification exam

Nice To Haves

  • Minium two years nursing experience preferred
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • BSN is
  • Additional education, training, certi fi cations or experience may be within the department by the nurse leader
