About The Position

Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor for the 3K Behavioral/Medical Observation Unit. This position is full-time and requires working night shifts. The RN Supervisor will oversee nursing staff, ensure quality patient care, and manage daily operations within the unit. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in a behavioral and medical observation setting.

Requirements

• Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in pediatric nursing preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Experience in behavioral health nursing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and manage daily operations of the 3K Behavioral/Medical Observation Unit.
• Ensure quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Provide training and support to nursing staff and assist with performance evaluations.
