About The Position

REGISTERED NURSE, STUDENT HEALTH, MIT Health, to provide nursing care and execute clinical programs that improve the well-being and health literacy of the MIT student population; work closely with clinicians and administrators on a wide range of clinical programs to determine the population health needs of MIT students; conduct appropriate programming and provide direct clinical care; work closely with other members of the student health team and is a resource to both internal and external stakeholders to assist in building health literacy so that each student is equipped to make informed healthcare decisions for both themselves and their families; and be a member of the MIT Health Student Health Team acts as a clinical educator and provider of direct patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Current RN license in Massachusetts.
  • CPR certified.
  • Current active BLS certification.
  • A minimum of three years as a Registered Nurse in pediatrics, women's health, or family medicine ambulatory clinic or private practice setting.
  • Fluency with EMR systems, Cerner preferred.
  • Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access).

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 (Final salary determined by MIT's compensation team based on skills and experience).
