About The Position

Sentara CarePlex in Hampton, VA is currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse for the Step Down Unit/Intermediate Care Unit. This is a busy 24-bed unit where we care for patients with a variety of healthcare needs. We are the designated Stroke Unit. We provide for respiratory compromised patients on Bipap, high-flo and/or chronic long term vents. We manipulate and titrate vasoactive infusions and have bedside monitors. We provide care for patients with DKA, CHF, Pneumonia, and much more. As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career. This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program
  • Registered Nurse License
  • Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program
  • Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License
