The Registered Nurse will utilize independent professional judgment, analytical skills, and the nursing process to provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients in the Special Care Nursery at Henry Ford Health Genesys. The role involves demonstrating clinical competence, compassion, and customer service orientation while focusing on process and outcomes. The nurse will coordinate the development of a multi-disciplinary plan of care, ensuring appropriate length of stay and quality outcomes. Responsibilities include providing patient care that respects patients' rights and needs, collaborating with families and staff for discharge planning, and documenting nursing interventions and patient responses. The nurse will also administer therapeutic regimens, monitor patient responses, and respond to changing patient situations, ensuring adherence to patient confidentiality and safety protocols.
