About The Position

The RN is responsible for providing nursing care to residents according to their individual needs, including medication supervision, health monitoring, assessing physical and mental capacity and developing individualized care plans. This position is part-time, with shifts from 7:00am to 3:30pm every other weekend. The role is situated in Somerset, at the area's highest quality nursing care residence, which provides a warm and compassionate environment in a state-of-the-art community.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN in the State of NJ.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum (1) year healthcare experience in long-term care and/or sub-acute care preferred.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Experience in nursing specialty of Geriatrics or Long-Term Care.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season.
