About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time opportunity throughout Harford County, Maryland. This position focuses on servicing seniors under their home health benefit within 1-2 communities only, offering a home health experience without the typical extensive commute. The Registered Nurse will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team, providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, enabling them to receive necessary medical care while remaining at home. The role requires availability Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, working 3 to 4 days per week.

Requirements

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in Maryland
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Solid computer skills
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned

Nice To Haves

• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet
