Requirements

• Must have at least two years’ recent experience working in a MICU unit.
• Current FL RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS through AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients on an assigned unit using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Manage care of assigned patients and guide and direct the activities of ancillary staff.
• Function as charge nurse as needed.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and document according to policy and procedure.
• Plan patient care in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
• Direct, implement, and coordinate patient care activities to ensure quality care delivery.
• Communicate the plan of care to other members of the healthcare team.
• Conduct ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes and document effectiveness of interventions.
