About The Position
Adelphi is seeking Registered Nurses to conduct health screenings and advocate for the health needs of students within schools in South Carolina. The ideal candidates will possess a current SC RN license and have a minimum of 1 year experience working with SPED students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid South Carolina R.N License
- Current BLS CPR certificate
- Minimum 1 year experience
Responsibilities
- Providing Nursing Services to all students according to management policy
- Conducting health screenings to identify potential health issues that may affect a student's learning or development
- Maintaining accurate and confidential health records for each student
- Upholding the confidentiality of student records and respecting the privacy of both student and department records
- Attending and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and other related meetings
- Collaborating with the management and parents
- Serving as an advocate for students' health needs within the school and the broader community
- Other duties as assigned
