About The Position

Requirements
- Active South Carolina RN License required.
- Experience caring for students with tracheostomies.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily nursing care to students with disabilities in a classroom setting.
- Deliver one-on-one care for a student with a tracheostomy, including frequent suctioning and airway management.
- Monitor and assess students’ health status and respond promptly to medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student care.
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and healthcare providers to ensure student safety.
- Follow infection control protocols and school health guidelines.
